Valve's goal and functioning: Technical sheet: the valve ATZ0058-0
The explosion-proof valve acts in case of bad funtioning in the ignition of the stove. The gas, that saturate the combustion-chamber might revela themselves
very dangerous, with a consequent explosion and glass' breaking.
To avoid this, a discharge-valve has been designed, in order to reduce the pressure, provoqued at the combustion's moment.
Assembly system:
To assembly the valve a hole is made, whose diameter is 76 m/m; this one will be the allocution and the gasket to the tight-seal. Furthermore other three holes
are made: the diameters measure 5.5 m/m, have an interaxis of 102 m/m; these three holes have the same distance, equal to 120 degrees and besides they will
respect the concentricity with the hole of 76 m/m. The hole can be made in every part of the combustion chamber, excluding the bottom; then on insert the
valve's body in the external part of the combustion chamber and secured with screws (8).
Materials of construction:
All the materials implied in the manufacture of the valve are fitted with certification. (for what concerns the numeration, make reference to the picture)
1) Spider material: mild steels for the cold deformation; set of rules EN 10027 ( DC04 n° 1.0338 )
2) Stopper anti soot material: mild steel for the cold deformation; set of rules EN 10027 ( DC04 n° 1.0338 )
3) Pivot material: automatics steels at high machinability; set of rules EN 10277 ( 11SMn30 n° 1.0715 )
4) Support disk-spring material: automatics steels at high machinability; set of rules EN 10277 ( 11SMn30 n° 1.0715 )
5) Sliding flange material: mild steels for the cold deformation; set of rules EN 10027 ( DC04 n° 1.0338 )
6) Tight seal material: Guarmica P Mica flogopite; set of rules HTB (DIN 3374) EN ISO 11114-3 EN 1797-1
7) Spring material: harmonic thread inconel x750 EN 10204 - 2004 -3.1
8) Screw TSEI material: M5 x 10 UNI 5931 DIN 912, class 8.8

Size: utmost diameter = 112; height = 80
Valve's weight, kg = 0.36
Drain hole's diameter = 76 m/m
Highest work temperature; in degrees celsius = 680 G°
Minimum pression, exercised for the opening, kg = 0.45
Highest pression exercised for he total opening, kg = 2.45
Simulated data in case of explosion:
Theoretical pressure in the combustion-chamber, atmospheres ( in case of an explosion ) = 3
Degrees celsius in the combustion-chamber = 80
Atmosphere's increase / degrees' increase = 0.09
Expulsion's capacitiy of the valve, liters = 3.3 Liters / second
Tight seal's data:
Highest temperature; in degrees celsius = 1000
Highest continued temperature; in degrees celsius= 850/900
Peak pressure; in bar = 10
Maintenance's data:
In case of a periodic cleaning, before enlightening the stove, check carefully that there aren't any pieces of pellet of something else betweem the tight seal and
the valve.
On the other hand, in case of explosion, there are three thing that have to be done:
1) check the intregity of the tighth seal
2) check the integrity of the spring
2) check that therea aren't any pieces of pellet or something else between the thigt seal and the valve.
